1224 Project is a London-based guitar/bass/drums trio that writes and performs electrifying, groove-fuelled contemporary jazz.
Our music is carefully crafted in the Laboratory and features odd meters, occasional slide guitar and effects, sinuous 6-string bass and death-defying drumming.
If you like artists like Medeski, Martin and Wood, John Scofield, Bill Frisell or Wayne Krantz then we hope you’ll enjoy our take on music that grooves, with enough surprises to keep it interesting for everyone.
The new album is now out!
Recorded in June 2010, it features new material and live favourites, including our version of Nirvana's "Come As You Are".
